On May 29, Chen Jianguang, Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Leadership Group of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC, and Chairman of MCC and China MCC, led a delegation to visit Wang Shaofeng, Secretary of the CPC Fengtai District Committee. Chen Jianguang extended his gratitude to the CPC Fengtai District Committee and Fengtai District People's Government of Beijing Municipality for their long-term support and assistance to MCC and introduced the basic situation of MCC. Fengtai District, as a new carrying area of the "four centers" (political, cultural, international exchange, and scientific and technological innovation centers) of Beijing, is a key area for building an international first-class harmonious and livable city. In recent years, the quantity and quality of economic development have increased, and it is becoming a new growth pole leading to the development of the southern region of Beijing. MCC is willing to give full play to the advantages of the whole industrial chain of investment, financing, construction, and operation to actively participate in the construction of key projects in Fengtai District, continuously increase resource investment, and contribute to writing a new chapter in the development of the capital in the new era with MCC strength.
Wang Shaofeng welcomed the visit of Chen Jiangguang and his delegation, and introduced the basic situation of Fengtai District. He said that Fengtai District is an important transportation hub in the coordinated development strategy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and a core hinterland connecting the core functional area of the capital, the sub-center of Beijing, and Xiong'an New Area. Currently, it is moving towards becoming an important guarantee area for the supply of high-quality living services in the capital, a new capital commercial area, an integrated development area for scientific and technological innovation and financial services, a high-level comprehensive transportation hub for the outside world, and a new type of urbanization development zone guided by historical culture and green ecology.
